On Monday, the Keller Williams Realty Colorado Region brought us Social Media Mastery with Liz Landry (@Liz_Landry). The class was fantastic and one of the many examples of the great educational opportunities at Keller Williams Realty!
Here are my Top 5 Takeaways from #smmastery:
1. Consumers are 85% more likely to work with an agent that uses video marketing. Only 1% of agents currently use video. Translation: start marketing with videos on YouTube!
2. Hyperlocal, niche marketing is the way to go. Liz has built her business off of a 7 mile stretch of road.
3. 41% of people have not tweeted since creating their account. Only 20% tweet over 10 times. Translation: you can make a big splash by actively engaging on twitter.
4. Setup your About.me profile.
5. Liz likes socks and cheese. If you don’t get why that is important, then you don’t get social media.
Thank you to Keith Alba (@KWCO) and Brian Smith (@KWrdCO) for bringing such a great speaker to Colorado. I’m looking forward to the Rocky Mountain Summit!

LOVE IT! I am tempted to say that #5 is my favorite for multiple reasons. 1) you acknowledged my love for cheese and socks 2) more importantly you understand why that is important in Social Media!! However, I have to say that #3 is the best. The fact that you see an area of opportunity and the ability to capitalize where many others have strayed away from.

Sounds like I missed a great class. Brad
